Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Anna Dierks and Audrey Busch Lead West Springfield to Victory

West Springfield won the last time they faced Washington-Liberty and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Generals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Leading West Springfield to victory were Audrey Busch and Anna Dierks. Busch had seven digs and two aces, while Dierks had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Dierks has posted since back in August.

West Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Washington-Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

West Springfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West Potomac on the 27th. As for Washington-Liberty, they are taking a road trip to challenge Langley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
