Coconino has gone 10-0 against Mohave recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Coconino Panthers will host the Mohave Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Coconino and seven for Mohave.

On Tuesday, Coconino took a blow against Prescott, falling 70-32.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Mohave duked it out withFlagstaff on Tuesday. Mohave had to suffer through a 59-17 loss at the hands of Flagstaff. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Eagles are ranked 34th).

Coconino's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Mohave, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Coconino beat Mohave 50-41 when the teams last played on January 9th. Will Coconino repeat their success, or does Mohave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
