After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whitnall, St. Thomas More was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Racine Lutheran Crusaders an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for St. Thomas More, who have now won four contests by five goals or more so far this season.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Racine Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas More will welcome Racine Case at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Racine Lutheran, they will challenge Wilmot at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Racine Lutheran will be up against Wilmot's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.13 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
