Basketball Recap: East Valley Comes Up Short

East Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-40 loss at the hands of the Pullman Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-60 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why East Valley lost, don't look at Tyson Rigby. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Martin, who had eight points and four steals.

East Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Pullman, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

East Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-26 loss against Rogers on the 17th. As for Pullman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 75-39 win against Clarkston on the 18th.
