Durango is 9-0-1 against Grand Junction since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Demons are taking a road trip to challenge the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Durango is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Durango is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Montrose last Tuesday. Durango's winning goal came courtesy of Ellis Campbell.

Durango used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Montrose. Josephine Phare played for 60 minutes having averaged 33.3 this season and Gracie Fitzpatrick got 45 vs. an average of 22.5. Phare made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals and one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Grand Junction took on Fruita Monument on Thursday. Neither the Tigers nor the Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Durango now has a winning record of 4-3. Grand Junction's draw makes their record 4-2-3 this season.

Durango took their victory against Grand Junction in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Demons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
