Brewbaker Tech hasn't had much luck against Montgomery Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rams will welcome the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Brewbaker Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Brewbaker Tech came up short against New Brockton and fell 13-10. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rams, who until this contest were averaging four runs allowed.

Cameron Gage and Tanner Thornton stepped up to the plate in a big way. Gage went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while Thornton got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That double was Gage's first of the season. Keshawn Taylor was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Montgomery Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat McGill-Toolen on Friday and fell 9-7. The Knights have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Montgomery Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Brewbaker Tech, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
