Basketball Recap: Bevier Comes Up Short

Bevier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-35 loss at the hands of the Higbee Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Tigers are ranked 206th).

Bevier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Higbee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Bevier has already played their next contest, a 43-31 loss against Norborne on the 31st. As for Higbee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-30 victory against Wellsville-Middletown on the 1st.
