Softball Recap: Dimmitt Comes Up Short

Dimmitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Shallowater Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in March.

Dimmitt's loss dropped their record down to 6-16-1. As for Shallowater, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Dimmitt and Shallowater will both be playing Idalou the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
