Ripon Christian piles up the points against Modesto

The Ripon Christian Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Modesto on the road to the tune of 66-35. That 66-35 margin sets a new team best for Ripon Christian this season.
Ripon Christian was led to victory by Jace Beidleman and Jake Vander Veen. Beidleman scored 15 points, while Vander Veen scored 15 points. The contest was Vander Veen's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Van Groningen, who scored eight points.
The win got Ripon Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Modesto, they bumped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ripon Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sierra has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 222 points over their last three games. Modesto will be home for the holidays to greet Tokay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tokay is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
