The Graham Local Falcons waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 47-42 W over Indian Lake. For Graham Local, this counts as revenge for the 59-49 loss Indian Lake walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Graham Local's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cora McWhinney, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Bailey Britton was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Graham Local's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Indian Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Graham Local will be playing at home against Bellefontaine at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Indian Lake on the road again on Monday and play against Versailles at 12:00 p.m. on January 15th. Versailles presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Indian Lake in Ohio (Versailles is ranked 122nd, while Indian Lake is ranked 577th).
