Softball Recap: Southeast Halifax Has No Trouble Against Rocky Mount Prep

Southeast Halifax won the last time they faced Rocky Mount Prep and things went their way on Thursday too. Southeast Halifax put the hurt on Rocky Mount Prep with a sharp 30-15 win. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly 15 runs.

Southeast Halifax got a massive performance out of Amari Jackson, who scored four runs and stole 12 bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Jackson has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Erika Allen, who scored four runs and stole ten bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Southeast Halifax always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .857. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Southeast Halifax and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 15 runs. As for Rocky Mount Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
