The Hubbard Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Frost 75-12. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hubbard in their matchups with Frost: they've now lost five in a row.

Brenda Manrriquez was her usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with 7 steals and 6 assists for Frost. The contest was Manrriquez's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Brynna Banks was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Hubbard's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Frost, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hubbard will take on Abbott at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Abbott comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Frost, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Dawson at 2:15 p.m. on December 8th. Dawson's defense has only allowed 28.7 points per game this season, so Frost's offense will have their work cut out for Frost.
