Baseball Game Preview: Linton-Stockton Miners vs. Edgewood Mustangs

Linton-Stockton hasn't had much luck against Edgewood recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Miners will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Linton-Stockton fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Bloomfield on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Edgewood didn't have quite enough to beat West Vigo on Saturday and fell 6-5.

Will Inman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Linton-Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Edgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
