Soccer Recap: Juarez-Lincoln Comes Up Short

Juarez-Lincoln was the 4-2 winner over Harlingen when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Juarez-Lincoln Huskies came up short against the Harlingen Cardinals on Saturday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Cardinals are ranked 29th).

This is the second loss in a row for Juarez-Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Harlingen, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Juarez-Lincoln has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against La Joya on the 7th. As for Harlingen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo on the 7th.
