Marshall won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redhawks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mounties.

Brynn Johnson paced Marshall's offense, picking up nine kills. Johnson got some help from Addie Carden and her 12 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 28-9-3. As for Northwest, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22-4.

Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Coldwater on the 25th. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Western on the 25th.
