Football Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

Brooks fell victim to King and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a blow against the Jaguars, falling 50-0. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jamar Lewis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for King, rushing for 205 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Lewis is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nasir White, who picked up 118 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for King, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
