Basketball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan suffered their closest defeat since February 12, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the St. Albert Falcons by a score of 56-54. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Harlan and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for St. Albert, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

When Harlan and St. Albert next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Harlan will try to stop Glenwood's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Albert will challenge Woodbine and their nine-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
