Basketball Recap: Rushville Lions vs. New Castle Trojans
Rushville had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the New Castle Trojans 68-65. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

New Castle dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
