Football Game Preview: McEachern Indians vs. Osborne Cardinals + Official Tickets

The McEachern Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Osborne Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McEachern has nine straight victories, Osborne has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

McEachern is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing South Cobb: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Indians blew the Eagles out of the water with a 56-18 final score. Considering the Indians have won eight matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

McEachern's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Calvin Pittman Jr, who threw for 176 yards and three TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes. Another back making a difference was Ty Nolan, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Osborne scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 36-24 to Campbell. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Spartans are ranked 174th).

McEachern's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Osborne, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for McEachern against Osborne in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-6 victory. In that game, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
