After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fashion Industries, Seward Park was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-14 win over Irving. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory snapped Seward Park's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Irving, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Seward Park has already played their next matchup, a 20-13 loss against Math Science & Engineering on the 10th. As for Irving, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-16 defeat against DeWitt Clinton on the 10th.
