Volleyball Recap: Byron Bears vs. St. Peter Saints

Byron waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the St. Peter Saints by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Byron was dominant in the fourth set, but otherwise had just enough against a tough St. Peter squad. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 20-25, 25-14.

Byron can attribute much of their success to Addison Johnson, who had 19 digs.

Byron was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're ace total in three consecutive contests.
