Volleyball Recap: Pandora-Gilboa Takes a Loss

Pandora-Gilboa lost against Miller City back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-11, 19-25, 25-20, 25-12.

Corrin Luginbill paced Pandora-Gilboa's offense, picking up 12 kills. Luginbill got some help from Cora Hovest and her 26 assists. Luginbill was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Pandora-Gilboa's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Miller City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pandora-Gilboa will face off against Van Buren at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Miller City, they will challenge Ottoville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
