Softball Game Preview: Cedarville Indians vs. Triad Cardinals

Cedarville is 0-8 against Triad since April of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Indians will challenge the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. Cedarville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Cedarville saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 7-3 to Fort Loramie.

Cedarville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joscelyn Evans, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Triad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Southeastern Local, falling 16-2.

Cedarville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Triad, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Cedarville might still be hurting after the 13-5 loss they got from Triad in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
