Basketball Recap: Climax-Scotts Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bellevue last Friday, Climax-Scotts came back down to earth. The Climax-Scotts Panthers took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galesburg-Augusta Rams on Monday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Climax-Scotts' defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Galesburg-Augusta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Climax-Scotts will venture away from home to challenge Mendon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they will head out to square off against Kellogg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
