Mount Vernon is 3-0 against Bellingham since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Mount Vernon Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Bellingham Bayhawks at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Mount Vernon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 68-63 to Sedro-Woolley.

Meanwhile, Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 87-49 defeat at the hands of Ferndale.

Mount Vernon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Bellingham, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Mount Vernon didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bellingham in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 64-59 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Vernon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
