Hickory kept a clean sheet against Bunker Hill on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Bears. The result was nothing new for Hickory, who have now won 16 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Bunker Hill from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Val Bravo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win (which was Hickory's third in a row) raised their record to 17-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Bunker Hill, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14.
