Basketball Recap: Joshua Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mansfield Timberview, Joshua was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 54-42 win over the Cleburne Yellowjackets. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Joshua's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Cleburne, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Joshua and Mexia will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Cleburne, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Burleson at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
