Soccer Game Recap: Tabernacle Christian Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Indiana Christian Academy, Tabernacle Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Heartland Christian Saints onto the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Heartland Christian from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Levi Bough led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Tabernacle Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Tabernacle Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome Suburban Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heartland Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crosspointe Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on September 17th.
