Baseball Game Preview: Skyridge Falcons vs. Lone Peak Knights

The Skyridge Falcons will challenge the Lone Peak Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Skyridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Pleasant Grove, who was ranked first at the time (Skyridge was ranked 11th). The Falcons came up short against the Vikings on Friday, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly ten runs.

Skyridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Pearson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Lone Peak came up short against American Fork on Friday and fell 8-3.

Lone Peak now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Skyridge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
