Oakmont Regional put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Fitchburg Red Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 33-15. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-5), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Oakmont Regional pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.5 points per game. As for Fitchburg, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakmont Regional will welcome Marlborough at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fitchburg, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Westborough at 6:00 p.m.
