Soccer Recap: Chancellor's Undefeated Season over After 13 Games

If Chancellor was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Caroline on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers fell just short of the Spotsylvania Knights by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Chancellor came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Spotsylvania are ranked 138th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Chancellor fell to 11-1-1. As for Spotsylvania, they pushed their record up to 4-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
