Baseball Recap: Secaucus Takes a Loss

Weehawken hit Secaucus with a four-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots fell 5-2 to the Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on April 4th.

Connor Miicallovich was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Secaucus has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Weehawken, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Coming up, Secaucus will challenge Park Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weehawken, they will face off against Manchester Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
