While Lauren Flowers delivered a dominant effort on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Carrollton. Despite the defeat, Flowers was still locked in as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
