Volleyball Recap: Round Rock Christian Academy's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

If Round Rock Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Concordia last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights on Tuesday. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

While Round Rock Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Hill Country Christian School of Austin work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 25-21, 29-27.

Round Rock Christian Academy's offense was headlined by Livia Groves and Mia Kropewnicki, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Lauren Woodard and her 20 assists. Brylie Turner and Sophia Dall'oglio kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
