Basketball Recap: Cornwall Central Comes Up Short

If Cornwall Central was riding high fresh off their 62-40 takedown of Monticello last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cornwall Central Dragons fell 60-53 to the Valley Central Vikings on Friday. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 52-51.

Cornwall Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Valley Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Cornwall Central will face off against Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Central, they will be playing at home against Monticello at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
