Basketball Recap: Lustre Christian Takes a Loss

Lustre Christian lost against Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lustre Christian Lions were beaten by Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale 62-26. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale are ranked 15th).

Lustre Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lustre Christian will take on Nashua at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Dodson at 4:00 p.m. on January 25th.
