Kossuth waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Alcorn Central Bears. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 9-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Kossuth was led to victory by Chloe Clement and Dallyn Haupt. Clement had 11 digs and three aces, while Haupt had 24 kills, 15 digs, three blocks, and three aces. That's the most digs Haupt has posted over her last six matchups.

They weren't the only good server: Kossuth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alcorn Central only served five aces.

Kossuth's record now sits at 23-4-2. As for Alcorn Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-13-1.
