Recap: Elba Tigers vs. T.R. Miller Tigers
The Elba Tigers's game on Saturday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 46-39 to T.R. Miller.
T.R. Miller's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Heath Kirkland, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Kirkland has scored at least 25% of T.R. Miller's points. Terrance Battles was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Elba's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for T.R. Miller, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Elba will head out on the road to face off against Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kinston is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. T.R. Miller and Daphne will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Daphne is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
