After a string of six wins, Cookeville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nolensville Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2020.

Among those leading the charge was Jaycie Stitt, who had nine digs and five assists.

Cookeville's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Nolensville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

Coincidentally, Cookeville and Nolensville will both be playing Collierville the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
