Nanwalek has no trouble against Tanalian

Nanwalek's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past Tanalian with points to spare, taking the game 50-34.
Despite the defeat, Tanalian saw an underclassman step up: Erik McGee scored 26 points. That was a full 76.5% of Tanalian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The victory got Nanwalek back to even at 1-1. As for Tanalian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Nanwalek and Cook Inlet Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tanalian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Holy Rosary Academy at 12:30 p.m. on January 13th. Holy Rosary Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
