Volleyball Recap: Big Rapids Takes a Loss

Big Rapids was the 2-0 winner over Onekama when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portagers on Tuesday.

Big Rapids has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22-1 record this season. As for Onekama, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7-3 record this season.

Big Rapids didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Manistee on the 28th. As for Onekama, they will head out on the road to face off against Buckley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
