Basketball Recap: Hayfield Skates Past Medford with Ease

Hayfield won the last time they faced Medford and things went their way on Friday too. The Hayfield Vikings simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Medford Tigers 78-30. That 48 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Hayfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Medford, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Hayfield is taking a road trip to square off against Randolph at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Medford, they will host Alden-Conger at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
