Wakefield lost against Guardian Angels Central Catholic back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans lost 43-20 to the Bluejays. On the bright side, the 20- point effort marked the Trojans' highest-scoring game to date.

When it comes to explaining why Wakefield lost, don't look at Jacob Borg. Despite the final result, he rushed for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Wakefield will face off against Tri County Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Wolfpack's rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, they will take on Pender at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejays' defense better be ready for this one: the Pendragons have averaged an impressive 42.8 points per game this season.
