Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

Faith Christian played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 62-28 loss at the hands of the First Baptist Crusaders. The Saints were probably out for revenge after losing 66-45 to them when the teams met back in December of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Isaac Wynja had a dynamite game for First Baptist, going 8 for 11 on his way to 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Lindsay, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 13 points and five assists.

The victory made it two in a row for First Baptist and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Faith Christian and First Baptist will both be playing Prior Lake Christian the next time they take the court. First Baptist will host Prior Lake Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Faith Christian will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on February 17th.
