Tioga has gone 10-0 against Chico recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tioga Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chico Dragons at 8:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Tioga and six for Chico.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-34, which was the final score in Tioga's tilt against Alvord on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Chico came up short against Lindsay on Tuesday and fell 61-48.

Tioga will have to contain Jordan Weiland as he made an impact in Chico's last game. He dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 boards. That was a full 60.4% of Chico's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Talon Smith, who scored ten points and six rebounds.

Chico's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Tioga, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything came up roses for Tioga against Chico when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 73-26 win. Does Tioga have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chico turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
