Volleyball Recap: Gorham Fayette Takes a Loss

Gorham Fayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hilltop Cadets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cadets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-7.

Gorham Fayette's offense was headlined by Kennedy Kunkle and Ellie Williams, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Kelsie Storrs and her ten assists.

Gorham Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Hilltop, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Gorham Fayette and Pettisville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hilltop, they will be taking part in a tournament against North Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
