Pioneer entered their tilt with Mercedes on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Mercedes Tigers. The four-run effort marked the Diamondbacks' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Pioneer's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Mercedes, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-2 win against United South on the 15th. As for Mercedes, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against Harlingen on the 15th.
