Football Recap: All Saints' Academy Piles Up the Points Against Liberty Christian Prep

All Saints' Academy got themselves on the board against Liberty Christian Prep on Friday, but Liberty Christian Prep never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 55-0. Considering the Saints have won five contests by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

All Saints' Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Bellotto, who threw for 82 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Bellotto a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Another pass catcher making a difference was Owen Shoultz, who picked up 47 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

All Saints' Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Frimpong and Sam Railey. Frimpong got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for All Saints' Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-6 Lake Mary Prep and 2-7 Liberty Christian Prep. As for Liberty Christian Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. All Saints' Academy will head out to square off against Geneva Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Liberty Christian Prep, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lake Mary Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
