Basketball Recap: Union Extends Winning Streak to Five

Union hadn't done well against Jesup recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Union Knights walked away with a 55-46 win over the Jesup J-Hawks. The 55-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Union, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.4 points. As for Jesup, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union will be home for the holidays to greet Sumner-Fredericksburg at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Jesup, they will welcome Gladbrook-Reinbeck at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
