Nevada has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Nevada pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Carl Junction 66-62.
El Dorado Springs suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Weaubleau, falling 81-50. El Dorado Springs has struggled against Weaubleau recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Nevada now has a losing record at 7-8. As for El Dorado Springs, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
Nevada didn't have too much breathing room in their match against El Dorado Springs when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nevada since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
